Dr. Emma Gould, ND
Dr. Emma Gould is a naturopathic physician, licensed in the state of Washington, and founder of Radiance Naturopathic Medical Group. She earned her Doctorate of Naturopathic Medicine from Bastyr University in Seattle, WA. Prior to medical school, she received her Bachelor of Science in Integrative Health from Arizona State University and went on to pursue additional training as a clinical nutritionist and personal trainer.
Dr. Gould believes that patients are the experts in their own bodies and that understanding a patient’s individual experience is essential to providing effective care. She recognizes that no two people, or two health concerns, are exactly alike, and she takes an individualized approach to each patient she works with.
Her approach to medicine goes beyond simply managing symptoms. Dr. Gould strives to look beneath the surface to understand the factors contributing to how a patient is feeling and, whenever possible, address the underlying causes of illness. She combines her medical training with a thoughtful, whole-person approach to create care plans that are both evidence-informed and tailored to each individual.
Her Approach to Care
Dr. Gould takes a comprehensive, multi-pronged approach to care, tailoring the depth and intensity of treatment to each patient’s individual needs and goals. She draws from the full range of therapeutic tools available to her, thoughtfully integrating conventional and naturopathic medicine when appropriate. Her approach may include pharmaceutical management, botanical medicine, homeopathy, nutritional supplementation, dietary and lifestyle interventions, craniosacral therapy, and other supportive therapies.
Rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach, Dr. Gould works to understand the full picture of each patient’s health and develop an individualized plan that meets them where they are. Her goal is to provide patients with the tools, support, and medical guidance they need to move toward greater health and well-being.
