Pricing & Payment Options
At Radiance Naturopathic, we follow a direct pay, time-of-service, fee structure which allows you to pay for the services you receive, at the time of service.
We strongly believe in always providing transparency around our pricing and that cost should never be a reason for someone to not be able to see our providers for care.
If you have concerns about cost, please contact our office at admin@radiancenaturopathic.com to ask about discount options that we offer for services!

FAQ - Billing & Insurance Coverage
Why do we use a direct pay model vs. billing insurance?
Radiance operates on a direct-pay model because we believe the kind of personalized, comprehensive care we provide does not always fit neatly within the traditional insurance model.
Insurance often determines which services are covered, how much time can be spent with a patient, and what is allowed to be discussed during a given visit. By choosing to not bill insurance directly, we have the freedom to spend more time with you, provide a broader range of treatment options, and create a care plan based on what you need instead of what your insurance company will approve of.
Our direct-pay model also means transparent pricing, with no surprise bills from us months down the road. You will always know the cost of your visit upfront and pay our clinic directly. In this model, most patient's can still use their insurance for covered services including lab work, imaging, and prescription medications. Your insurance can still cover everything, with the only exception being the visit itself.
For many patients, this model creates a simpler and more predictable healthcare experience: you pay for your care directly, and your insurance remains separate from the care decisions made between you and your provider.
Can you provide me with a superbill to submit to my insurance?
Yes! We can provide a detailed superbill after your visit, which you can submit to your insurance company for possible out-of-network reimbursement.
Whether your insurance plan provides reimbursement for naturopathic medical care, and how much it reimburses, will depend on your individual plan. We recommend contacting your insurance company before your visit to understand your out-of-network benefits, deductible, and reimbursement policies.
Do you accept HSA or FSA payments?
Yes! HSA and FSA funds can generally be used toward eligible medical expenses at Radiance, including your visits and qualifying diagnostic testing, including some specialty laboratory testing being used to help diagnose your condition.
In some cases, HSA/FSA funds may also be used to purchase nutritional supplements or other therapeutic products when they are recommended by a medical practitioner as treatment for a specific diagnosed medical condition.
Because individual HSA/FSA plans and administrators may have additional requirements, we recommend confirming eligibility with your plan administrator before making a purchase.
Can I have insurance and still be a patient at Radiance?
You can absolutely still have insurance and be a patient at Radiance. Our direct-pay model simply means that you pay Radiance directly rather than having us bill your insurance company for the cost of your visit.
You may be able to use your out-of-network benefits to receive reimbursement for a portion of your visit by submitting a superbill to your insurance company. We recommend contacting your insurer to understand your specific out-of-network benefits and reimbursement policies.
Having active health insurance coverage is recommended for any additional medical needs you may have outside of your visits at Radiance. This may include visits to specialists, urgent care, or the emergency room.
Can I still use my insurance for labs, imaging, medications?
Absolutely! Choosing direct-pay care at Radiance does not mean you have to stop using your health insurance. While you will pay Radiance directly for your visits, your insurance may still be used for eligible services outside of our clinic, such as laboratory testing, diagnostic imaging, prescriptions, and referrals to other healthcare providers.
When appropriate, we can order labs, imaging, and other diagnostic services that can be billed through your insurance. Prescriptions can also be sent to your pharmacy and processed through your prescription drug coverage.
This allows you to use your insurance where it can provide the most value, while keeping your care at Radiance transparent, personalized, and independent of insurance restrictions.
